An innovative concept for the residents
STUDIO MUGO is working alongside the city of Asnières, a pioneer in urban agriculture, to define and implement an innovative concept: a rooftop greenhouse farm in a residential development. A unique business model, based on the combination of green space maintenance and greenhouse production, has been developed with the view to make the agricultural facilities and the production with the residents sustainable. They will be managed like mini garden centres and will produce up to 10,000 aromatic plants, climbing and pollen-producing plants leaving a long-lasting and ecological green mark over the housing complex and the neighbourhood. The future residents will be able to take part in Mugo-run workshops in order to learn the gardening basics necessary to create a sustainable garden.
