The Countryside
A collaborative garden bringing the countryside into Paris
STUDIO MUGO designed a little piece of countryside in the eco-district of Boucicaut in the heart of Paris covering several aspects of agroecology from delayed mowing to agroforestry. In the Northern garden, in the blooming garden, visitors can discover roses, ferns and sage to create flower arrangement. Another space, reminiscent of bocage, offers a variety of cereals and pulses. It includes also a collaborative garden. The Southern garden is left uncultivated and sits on a declared-polluted site, an experiment of phytoremediation (decontamination using plants).
