MUGO selected to take part in the Business Convention for the Climate

As a follow-up to the Citizen’s Convention for the Climate (CCC), the Business Convention for the Climate (CEC) aims to make bold and impactful proposals intended for implementation in companies. 

It will be held from September 9, 2021 to June 18, 2022 and will bring together various companies represented by more than 150 executives, a committee guaranteeing the mission, independent experts and facilitators.

CEC’s mission is to help businesses tackle the emergency keeping in mind the national aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 55% by 2030 in compliance with biodiversity and social justice.

Gautier la Combe will represent MUGO from September 9 to 11 during the first session held under the theme “Observation and the world of tomorrow”. Together, the 150 business leaders will talk about the vulnerability and contribution to systemic risks, co-construction of the contours of a new sustainable economic model, desirable and respectful of living things.

Erika Kerisit, director of the Ecological Transition division, was nominated as a “Planet Champion”. She will act as a substitute during the Convention and will be the flagship of the CEC’s outcomes inside MUGO.
